Apology to a Forgotten Forest
This zine was made in collaboration with forest expert, Monica Allaby. Monica had the idea to make a zine about New Brunswick's very special forest (which is being ravaged by bad logging practices) and her relationship to it. She came to me with this beautiful piece of writing as well as a bunch of photographs. I helped to fine tune the writing a little and then made illustrations based on the photos.
Some Non-Comprehensive Thoughts on Writing & Drawing & Today
This zine was made as part of the France-New Brunswick Comic Artist Residency, in which I spent some lovely hours drawing with Elizabeth Holleville over the internet. Thanks to the Frye Festival, ArtsLink NB, the AAAPNB, and the French Embassy in Canada for making this happen.
